Energy Medicine Practicum 1
April 22, 2007
This practicum is geared to deepening your understanding and practice of introductory energy techniques as taught by Donna Eden. We will review meridians, chakras, and auras and their inter-relationships. The five minute routine, and fundamentals of energy testing will also be addressed. Lastly we will discuss working safely with energy on yourself and others. Led by Eileen Schwartz, Ph.D., advanced student of Donna, this class provides an opportunity for hands on practice and feedback in a small group setting.

Using approaches from Energy Medicine, based on the work of Donna Eden, this session will teach simple energetic first aid to use on yourself and others for these and other maladies. Energetic First Aid - New Approaches

This workkshop will provide an in depth exploration of how different healing modalities can be integrated in dealing with common health problems such as fatigue, anxiety, and weight management. Approaches will include energy medicine, guided imagery, and crystal and stone layouts. Attendence at previous Energetic First Aid workshops is not required. The Presenters
Eileen Schwartz, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist with over twenty years of experience working with children, adults and couples. Trained traditionally, she studied Energy Medicine and soon realized the power of incorporating it into her work in psychotherapy. This approach has been particularly effective with anxiety, learning problems and sleep disorders. She is an advanced student of medical intuitive Donna Eden having studied with her for over five years. Dr. Schwartz is also trained in neurofeedback (biofeedback for brain waves), and employs this in her practice, often in combination with Energy Medicine. She has taught energy medicine workshops privately, at social service agencies, and at adult education centers. She is available for training, and for energy medicine healings. Alice Pratt is a nationally certified Massage Therapist. A Reiki Master and teacher for over 13 years, she studied with William Rand. She was trained as a Crystal Healer by Katrina Raphael.
Wendy Marks www.wendymarks.com
worked in traditional medical and therapeutic spheres until her psychic abilities became too hard to ignore. She then trained for four years with Chini Richard Allen, Shamanic Healer and Sunray leader. She has practiced Medical Intuition, Energy Medicine, and Body, Mind Spirit Therapy for five years. Wendy is a Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor, a Diplomate of the APA and the AAIM, and a member of the International Association of Medical Intuitives. She speaks and lectures locally and nationally.
Carol Chiang is an Engineer who has been studying energy techniques to provide balance for her stressful profession. She is an advanced student of Donna Eden and has been studying with her for over 3 years. She has also studied several other energy modalities including Pranic Healing, Reiki, Yuen Method, Soul Coaching, and Feng Shui. Carol enjoys combining her engineering training with energy techniques for enhanced assessment and problem solving in healing.

Sunday February 19, 2006, 1-4 PM
Boston
This workshop will further your understanding of meridians, their inter-relationships, and their connection to various emotions. We will discuss alarm points, the first steps toward assessing meridian imbalance. You will learn to trace your own meridians, to balance your own emotions through use of neurovasculars, and the Brazilian Toe Hold, a quick safe way for balancing another’s energy. Lead by Eileen Schwartz and Carol Chiang. Fee $35, limited to 15 people.

Alarm Points, What Next?

You've learned how to determine which meridians are out of balance. So what do you do about it? In this workshop we will study ways to determine whether meridians are over or under energized, and steps for balancing them. We'll introduce pulses and the flow and control cycle. This will be a more hands on workshop where as a review we'll be testing each other for neurological disorganization, tracing each other's meridians, and testing alarm points,
In addition we'll test and balance each other's meridians. As part of this process we'll begin to focus on the intuitive side, ways of feeling and seeing energy. Limited to 15 people. $35

Boston MA Fixing what's out of Balance:
Post Assessment Interventions and Strange Flows
We've learned how to test for neurological disorganization, for out of balance and over-energized meridians. In this next practicum we'll review energy interventions based on Five Element Theory, in particular how to use the control and flow cycles in determining what to address. We'll introduce Strange Flows, another energy system which sends energy where it's needed, and supplements the work of meridians. There will be opportunities for hands on practice.

Crystal Empowerment

Crystals can be used as healing aides to awaken, activate, and align the chakras. Using energy, visualizations, and layouts, the session will teach basic techniques for healing with crystals. Each participant will receive a set of crystals attuned with Reiki Energy for this practice.
Aura and Chakra Analysis: Diagnose and Heal Thyself

This session will help you to be better able to recognize and trust your intuitive knowledge of your body. We will work with your ability to see into your chakra centers and aura to determine vulnerabilities and strengths. We will also pair up and learn to read each others chakras and auras.
We will end our session with a guided meditation.
